The Artist
Herbert Lamont is an artist, producer, DJ, and creative director from Hackensack, New Jersey. His work moves through Afro House, soulful house, R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, and genre-crossing records without losing its center: rhythm, atmosphere, and a clear point of view.
His music is designed to live beyond a single moment. A track can begin in the club, move through a visual, and become part of a larger world.
The Approach
Herbert builds records from concept through execution—writing, arrangement, production direction, vocal character, and the final presentation. Featured singers and performers may carry the lead vocal, but every record remains part of the Herbert Lamont creative ecosystem.
The recurring “Lamont” signature is the marker: authorship you can hear before you see the name.

From deep percussion and rolling bass to cinematic R&B and hard drums, each project begins with a distinct emotional target. The goal is not to repeat a formula—it is to make the record feel undeniable.
